August 2020 – With the move into our new facility, TouchPad Electronics has significantly expanded our manufacturing capacity and capabilities through the acquisition of top-of-the-line manufacturing equipment.

Our ersa VERSAFLOW 3/45 selective soldering machine allows us to precisely mass solder PCB products by utilizing mini-wave soldering technology. Each board is soldered automatically while video feed allows a quality control specialist to supervise the entire process. This is one of the many ways TouchPad strives to increase efficiency without compromising our high standard of quality.
Selective soldering is not the only area we are continuously improving. Our new 3D AOI machine is enabling us to identify abnormalities and detect counterfeit parts exponentially faster. This advanced MRS technology allows us to condense the inspection process to mere minutes, whereas inspections to this detail level would normally take hours or days. Exciting additions to our arsenal like these mean that TouchPad’s PCB products are getting into your hands faster than ever.
